mumof4 Posted July 14, 2008 Author Report Posted July 14, 2008 Now thats cheating. I have a toolbox full of all sorts of odd things plus the usual stuff, ive got ends of knives, ends of steels, spoons, knives, odd screws and bolts, a couple of spare wheel nuts, string, rope, a palette knife, a pair of tights, (...nooo not to wear, and nor have been worn but might come in use for the bank raid im planning), various sized cable ties, some laggy bands, plus other odds and sods.LOL Quote
jkspoff Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Don't forget, more weight, more fuel used, so in these times when fuel is so expensive we should be reducing the amount of things in the car, I took out a seat the other day, that must save a few quid as they are so heavy ! Quote
mumof4 Posted July 14, 2008 Author Report Posted July 14, 2008 mm..very true, id already taken a seat out so only 4 in the back instead of 5. So what else could be taken out/off /modified to help save fuel? Quote
searcher Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Go commando :) Oh no the extra wind drag would increase fuel consumption :) Quote
mumof4 Posted July 14, 2008 Author Report Posted July 14, 2008 Well, it might for you hun what with everything flapping about etcc... but it wouldnt fer me :) Quote

mk2vr6 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 me I carry a mobile phone (x 5 at times) a rescue service card, a tow rope (for others) a spare bulb/fuse kit, a couple of pair of rigger gloves and a few surgical gloves for use when changing a wheel and thats it! what else do you need? and why? if you start to carry all the tools and parts to do road side repairs then you shouldnt have left home in the first place but stayed their and fixed the heap before you set out Quote
